Nothing Edd has said it false. Rick Perry said we did not have a heart. You may not like that he said it, nor do we. But he did say it.
Perry has said his use of that word was wrong because it ascribed ill motives to those who disagree with the policy, and he took it back.
"Took it back"? lol!
He used the word not knowing what backlash it would produce. But he used the word because it reflected his views. That he "took it back" is meaningless. We know what he meant.
Perry said it was the wrong choice of words and he had the humility to admit his mistake.
