Wow....8 whole degrees.....Who needs a freezer! lol
It’s 77 here now but I opened windows in the wee hours to get the house cooled down to 72 so no A/C required.
It was however a LOT hotter in my kitchen today with the oven going for a few hours.
I took the day off & spent such an enjoyable day baking & prepping for tomorrow.
I LOVE this time of year!:)

I’ve been here 28 years and this is my first Thanksgiving here. Things are just too unstable for me to be gone 2 weeks. And now this really cold weather made the decision more right. My friend said she wondered when this day would come.
Most of the office got off at noon, but today is check day. I got out of there about 2:30. I had planned to take Friday off, but this week is 2 days short and I need all those days. I’ll go in on Friday for a few hours, maybe about 10a, and get done what I need so Monday won’t be so horrible. I brought my alphabetizing home tonight, and will still work timesheets on the weekend. My new regimen seems to be working out pretty well.
Are you having more than family? Your Mom? Father-in-law? Friends? Turkey?
My Mom chose ham...I got a spiral cut one...she said I did good. LOL!
