Your governor is fighting illegal aliens and drug smugglers while you sleep at night. You just don’t know it, want to know it, and blame him for everything wrong in your life. What a waste of energy. I hope you find some happiness somewhere. Personally, I love Texas. Perry has done a FANTASTIC job, paving the way for one of the finest economies in the world. Other than staying out of the way (which I do, actually, respect him for), Perry hasn’t done jack for the Texas economy. Our ‘miracle’ here is that our homestead laws didn’t permit people to “extract” equity from their homes, so we never had a housing bubble and then a subsequent bust. It also doesn’t hurt that we’re right-to-work and that the price of energy (our bread and butter) remains high.
Yes Perry has been here for it, but no, he hasn’t done jack regarding the economy. And he’s made us the laughing stock of Republican-dominated states when it comes to dealing with ILLEGALS.
