My offer of help ranged from driving across the country and shooting him in the face with a shotgun, to helping get legal representation to sue the bastard. No matter how angry I was, I had to acquiesce to her desire to not relive the horror. What she wanted from me was to listen to her anger...which I did. She's still working on forgiveness.
Reporting the abuse is an extremely painful process for the victim. But it's the only way to protect the next generation.
What if he hasn’t changed... but has found others to take advantage of and is still doing it now? He should be caught (or checked out at least) somehow without involving the female and her brother.
