A North Carolina hillbilly here. It says I have a Midland accent. I grew up in the military, moving all over the place. But folks tell me I’ve got a Southern accent.

LOL....pegged me as Midland and I’m on the opposite coast! I’ve always said I didn’t have an accent but in Texas they said I did.

So do you say “about” in an odd fashion? I guess I do since I’ve had people ask me if I’m Canadian, but it’s just a bit of Tidewater accent from growing up in Virginia.
