The Iranians want to cut off their nose to spite the British, let them go right ahead. I actually have a warm and fuzzy feeling about their barbarism!

Iran should have ceased to exist Nov 5, 1979, but we had no president then either.

From the article: "Britain ... became the first state to impose direct sanctions on Iran's central bank. Financial institutions in the City were also banned from doing business with their Iranian counterparts...

... Despite pressure from Israel, Washington has balked at following suit, arguing that such a step would cause deep financial pain for ordinary Iranians and could cause the price of oil to soar."

Awww, our little Kenyan Turd Blossom is worried about causing his fellow Islamists financial pain!

Too bad the sonuvabitch isn't concerned about the financial pain he has inflicted on ordinary Americans since he started stinkin' up the White House in January 2009!

Every civilized power that:
A. Still has a diplomatic mission in Iran.
B. Still has a pair

Should close up shop and leave at once.

Dominic Chilcott, who took up the position of ambassador Ga month ago, could be forced to leave the country within weeks....

^^
Good grief! They are chanting “Death to England”. His government should get him out of there immediately before we see a repeat of what they did to our embassy during the Carter Infestation.

some months ago it was common here on FR to see a list showing the percentage of muslims in a country resulting in a level of muslim unrest through upheaval in that country. Can anyone help me find that list again?

Thanks in advance.

Iran erupted in a fresh frenzy of animosity towards its old imperial foe on Sunday as MPs chanting "death to England" voted to expel Britain's ambassador to Tehran and threatened his mission with a reprise of the 1979 hostage crisis.

And Ron Paul wants to be their friend. Not a very good idea to have an embassy in country that has a public holiday marking the date of the 1979 embassy seizure.
