stuxnet strikes again? The oil and gas industry is a perfect target for virus’s like stuxnet to strike. Overpressurize some pipelines, close a few valvesm and boom...............”It was a Trojan program inserted into SCADA system software that caused a massive natural gas explosion along the Trans-Siberian pipeline in 1982. A newspaper reported the resulting fireball yielded “the most monumental non-nuclear explosion and fire ever seen from space.”

The Nuclear Technology Center of Isfahan is a nuclear research facility that currently operates four small nuclear research reactors, all supplied by China. It is run by the AEOI.[17]

The Uranium Conversion Facility at Isfahan converts yellowcake into uranium hexafluoride. As of late October 2004, the site is 70% operational with 21 of 24 workshops completed. There is also a Zirconium Production Plant (ZPP) located nearby that produces the necessary ingredients and alloys for nuclear reactors.

That might’ve been fun to see. It interests me to know this occurred during the Soviet reign. How’d they see it from space? Somebody happen to be looking? Missile launch detection satellite?
