“...they need a war against poverty to make it a major priority in the way which we have a priority...”

Well, la dee friggin’ da.

If memory serves correctly, we have been engaged in “the war on poverty” since LBJ was in office. Yet, we’re still fighting it. Asshats like Cornell West need to be...well, I can’t say what I’m thinking, but you understand my meaning.

We have spent “TRILLIONS” of dollars on this fictitious war, but instead of ridding ourselves of poverty, we have created 3 or 4 generations of welfare families, decimated the “black community”, and created an entire class of people that are dependent upon the DNC, liberal elites, and the monsterous beauracracy known as the US Gubmint.

Where the hell is my monthly check, section 8 housing, EBT card, WIC certificate, and free pound of cheese?! Damnit! I’m starving! /s

The War on Poverty was/is proof positive that Lyndon Johnson truely hated black people.

One more time, the poverty statistics are bogus. It does not include what the leeches get in non-cash benefits, such as food stamps, free meals at school for the kiddies, Medicaid, free housing, free cell phones, government cheese, and on and on. Someone can be getting all these taxpayer supplied goodies, have some cash income, and will still be included as someone who is living in “poverty”.

Look at what poor people have in the US - cars, big screen TVs, cable TV, most own their own homes, etc. This is not poverty. Living on a garbage dump in a third world country is poverty. The libs have cleverly skewed the numbers to make the sheeple think that there are a whole bunch of naked, starving kids in the US, and it is not true (unless mom is a drug addict, perhaps).
