I am not a Paulbot. I like his views on the Fed and fiscal matters, but I think he has his head up his butt when it comes to terrorism.

However, I think Paul is right on target with this ad on the political/moral whore known as Newt Gingrich.

I like Newt and following Cain’s apparent demise, I’m rooting for him. I see one problem though. Newt’s biggest problem is Newt, not his history.

I don’t think other candidates should spend much time with Newt as I’ve a feeling he’s going to self-immolate himself with his narcissistic ego.

Newt should avoid all references to himself and concentrate on the innovative conservative thinking he is known for.

Ron Paul helping the Dems again. He’s not a serious candidate. He’s got a libertarian cult around him that overlooks all of Paul’s hypocrisy. I wish he’d just go away.

Exactly! Since he became ahead in the polls, I’ve noticed a distinct shift to “I saved the world single-handedly”-type statements. Humble, he isn’t.

Then again, next to our current narcissist-in-chief, Bill Clinton would look humble.

“Ron Paul helping the Dems again.”

Yep, but he’s also helping the Conservatives and the country as a whole.

IMHO, Gingrich is a phony and he’s dangerous. Voters need to see the truth about him before the primaries.

What could be better for the Marxist Obama and the liberal Romney than an unelectable kook with a left-wing extremist foreign policy and that kook's cult libertarian followers fouling the GOP?

OK, so Newt is out; Cain is so wounded he’s now unelectable; Perry looks like an a eighth grader at a high school prom; you’ve got some dwarves still who haven’t soared. All roads point to Romney. I’ll vote him over Obama, but is he the most conservative candidate we can get?

Is Ron Paul really saving us?

Paul is very good on most domestic issues, sadly he terrible on foreign policy. He might be right about the origins of our problems, but who cares, we are where we are. Paul should just get over the finger pointing and use his excellent intellect to bring a little sanity to where we go from here, keeping in mind that the USA will never abandon Israel.

There is a reason Paul's stuck at 4% and Newt is surging into the lead.

People are watching the debates and see quality.

Newt has potential.

What did Lincoln have prior to 1860?

Like I said, I’m not a Paul supporter. If I had to vote today, it would be for Cain or Bachmann.

Paul isn’t fouling up the GOP...Gingrich and the Plaid Pants Wing of the GOP are to blame.

Are Conservatives supposed to sit on the truth about Gingrich and hope the libs don’t bring it up after Gingrich is the nominee?

I betcha those storerooms at the Washington Post and NYT are FILLED up to the ceiling with dirt on Gingrich. They’re just waiting for the right time.

If RP thinks he is going to win the nomination (let alone the presidency) he is as nutty as his followers ... which is saying a lot because he is already pretty nutty.
This looks more like scorched earth to me.

“I am not a Paulbot. I like his views on the Fed and fiscal matters, but I think he has his head up his butt when it comes to terrorism.”

I could easily say something similar.

When it comes to Speaker Gingrich, however, I happen to like what I hear the former Speaker saying....and am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt about having learned from his mistakes.

Romney > Gingrich.

Yes, I’m serious.

The “anybody but Romney” crowd needs to get a grip. Newt is not only a serial hypocrite, but a serial traitor. Newt for prez? Who’s next, Benedict Arnold?
