They had been scheduled to open their Atlanta campaign headquarters tomorrow.

It’s quite possible that’s what this is about.

Or not.

We shall see.

Imagine the MSM’s chagrin if he announces he's definitely staying in the race!

And oh, go around the World once or twice to try and understand that to be the leader of the Free World, you have to LEARN about the world....

MSNBC? Why don’t we ask the Kremlin what they think, while we are at it?

Cain will release the text messages and details of everyone he has helped then he will be the comeback kid. Cain in batter box, bases loaded two men out and three balls and two strikes. He points to the end of the fields. Home run on the way.

I hope and pray you're right.

Mr. Cain: Please! At least wait until the people have had one opportunity to vote!

STOP making stupid comments like "I'd consider Donald Trump for VP",and instead offer up Allen West, who would not only add a boost of nitrous to her campaign but would be an EXCELLENT choice, and has said he would step up and serve if asked.

Then propose a flat tax, a moratorium on drilling moratoriums and a college football playoff.

This kind of thing is what I would like Herman to announce tomorrow. I’d like the biased mudslinging media to stop this one sided character assassination! I’d like Herman to keep his hat in the ring.

“If he’s out, I’m going Third Party”

This thinking is precisely what the media and the dems want to hear, this is what their campaign against us is all about. Does anyone understand that this country is at critical mass and our democracy is in deep peril? I will vote for ANYONE that gives us even a glimmer of hope. Because at this point, we have none. I will vote for ANYONE who can get the sleeper out of the White House. I will look for every positive aspect in our candidate and pray he or she is able to pull it off. BS or not Newt Gingrich will take it to Obama, and right now, RINO or not, he is my man.

I don’t approve on announcing that there will be an announcement. If he’s quitting, he should say so. If not, then he shouldn’t fuel those rumors. I can’t imagine a situation in which announcing an announcement in the middle of damage control for scandal is a good strategy. I’d rather have Cain than Newt, Perry, or Bachmann, and I’d rather have almost anyone alive than have Romney or Obama, but this does not impress me.

If Cain is out, I will try to control my disgust and support Newt. He’s sleazy, revolting, and the ultimate insider, but he’s brilliant the 98% of the time when he’s not shockingly stupid.

Then be prepared to welcome Obama to a second term.

Don't waste your time on those 3rd party types. They're beyond saving.

If he’s out, I’m going Third Party, I am done with dog food the GOP has been throwing at us for Presidential candidates.

If he is out it is nobody's fault but his own. Cain made his own bad decisions and if he is bailing it likely means there is more to come. How hard is it to keep your wife informed of a 13 year "friendship" with some seedy woman that he was giving cash to?

If Cain is completely innocent, he really should have no trouble defending himself. I thought he began doing that effectively on Cavuto the other day, but he took a giant step backward with Hannity last night. Err, "lets not play detective" just doesn't get it done.

Sorry, but if Cain really drops out because of this, it means there is probably some truth to it which means there is whole other side to Mr. Cain that his supporters just didn't realize.

So you're going to vote 3rd party because an unlikely, untested, novice politician lost his bid for the nomination because of his own bad decisions and checkered past that he couldn't defend? Seriously?

The GOP doesn't decide what candidates run. The people in the field are the folks that chose to run. It is unfortunate there are not better choices, but untested political novices are never going to work out. Cain really never had a chance as his policy ignorance alone would have knocked him out.

ALL of our remaining candidates are better than Obama. Even Romney the chameleon and Ron Paul the kook. Third party voting is a waste, you may as well just flush your ballot down the toilet. In this 2 party system (and it is effectively a two party system since there is no possibility of coalition building) you will rarely have someone you are that excited about to vote for. In the American system, most of the time voters are going to be stuck voting against someone else rather than for a dream candidate that rarely materializes. It's unfortunate, but it ain't likely to change anytime soon (if ever).

On the other hand he could be announcing something other than dropping out but it’s highly unlikely.

He said last night that he would have an announcement about whether he stays in or gets out no later than Monday. Looks like he has made his decision. Not telling the wife of the 13-year "friendship" (which he admitted last night he did not do) pretty much has sealed his fate.

Call me an optimist, but I remember back when McCain won the nomination, there was a suicide watch on the majority of conservative Freepers. Just like what I am seeing here today. We felt deflated and the excitement of the election was gone.
All it took was one very brilliant choice for a VP running mate (Palin) and you could not contain our excitement. Those of us who knew who Palin was were doing cartwheels on Aug 29, 2008.
We need to hope and pray that Newt, or Mitt have the wisdom of Solomon when selecting a running mate.

Call me crazy..I thinnk he is going to stay in. I think that Mrs. Cain is supporting him 100%. I don’t think she believes he did anything wrong and I don’t think he did either.

He’s never been about pleasing the media or GOP. He has always been about what “we the people” want him to do.

When the race started, I wanted a businessman and an outsider. I am not going to go jello-legs over rumors. If I want him to be strong and true..the least I can do as a supporter is stay strong and true to the candidate that my gut tells me is right for America now.

If we don’t turn this economy around pronto..what else matters? As a CEO, Cain had to bring opposing sides together and find solutions..isn’t that what we need now? R. Reagan was no mastermind on foreign affairs when he started. He surrounded himself with the best and had the guts to make the big calls. Cain has the guts and I think he will have some big hitters surrounding him.

That’s my rant..thanks for the vent time!

I will call your rant and raise you one.

Don't think for a moment that L. Lin Wood doesn't have a team out trying to identify the source of the deep ops effort against Cain.

I hope he stays in and in addition definitively identifies the organization that has been digging into his background and "encouraging" these women to come forward.

Sure are a lot of tools making assumptions about things they have no knowledge of. I don’t recall the election cycle last time being this vicious amongst conservatives.

“I hope he stays in the fight. Just the fact he did not go to the boxing match Ginger Witch says he took her to is enough to show she’s told one lie.

Where did you read that? Did Herman say that? That is a pretty bold admission.

How I hope he will stand and fight the MSM tomorrow.”

************

Yes, I read that yesterday in a statement from his attorney. Same article was where Cain’s attorney was saying he wanted White’s cell records to review for himself. Will try to find the link.
