The thing that gets me...what I can't fathom...is how these guys think that they can escape any close scrutiny when they decide to step into the political limelight.
Here's a little lesson for those conservative individuals who are contemplating running for office.....purge your hard drives,double-check past friends,neighbors,co-workers and lovers, make sure your spouse isn't fooling around and make sure your financial dealings are all on the up-and-up.
If you're not squeaky-clean or you can't readily produce irrefutable evidence that you're innocent of any wrongdoing, don't bother running. You make yourself look bad, cause a lot of frustration, confusion and dissention amid your supporters (or those who might want to support you),and it's a huge distraction in general.

Because 'Power" brings with a it strong false sense of being untouchable to the average perils of the man on the street.

Additionally "confidence" is one thing..."arrogance" another. Being humble with power and money is a difficult walk to walk.....this too gives a "false" sense of being "untouchable".

Many in 'positions' of power fall to pride & arrogance, when power is at it's peak. Cain also needed to identify that when it came...unfortunately he didn't and we saw that in how he handled these situations.
