I can’t believe all the “doomsdayers” who are predicting the fall of the nation over this decision.

If our forefathers had given up this easily, we would still be British with red-hair and bad teeth.

If the men who fought WWII had given up this easily, my grandmother would have never been liberated from Auschwitz and I wouldn’t even be a zygote.

NUT UP people! One man dropping out of the race does not necessarily herald the doom of the entire republic or even the election. It’s starting to sound like a bunch of DU idiots in here who threaten to leave the country every time something doesn’t go their way.

I liked Cain, would have likely voted for him. But he isn’t the Messiah- whether you’re waiting for the Messiah’s second visit or his first. :-)

Thank You! Someone had to say what you did. These FReepers had better snap out of it and fast. No one said this was going to be easy, and it hasn’t been. The Nation is at stake and we all had better come to terms with that. Lock and load, get prepared and now on to the next phase in the campaign. We have a Supreme Ct. to uphold, we have a military to support, we have an economy that will take years to fix. Stop whining about not voting or throwing in the towel. Get back on track. Cain would be embarrassed if he heard all of this crap. Snap outa’ it!
