Newt is NOT a RINO. He has a Republican heart, and is a conservative with some real flaws in his past actions.

But he is a mainstream Republican based on his past acts and current positions.

You can say he isn’t a “true conservative” and we could have a rational discussion. But to say he is a RINO like Olympia Snowe or John McCain or Lindsay Graham is absurd.

I’d say that half of Republicans are to the left of him, and half are to the right. Newt is at the center of the Republican party.

And he can beat Mitt, and then beat Obama.
