You are a Perrywinkle.
Some are Mittbots.
Some are bong-using Paulbots.

I was open to all but Paul, Romney, Huntsman and Johnson - and now that things have settled out I am willing to support Newt.

So using your standards we should refer to you as a Neuter? (Pronounced Nooter or Newter)

(Newt) is ready to restore America on day one.

Yea right. He doesn't even know if Global Warming is caused by man or not. (He said that BTW)

And doesn't even know what criminal invading illegal alien colonist means. Panderer and finger-in-the-wind beltway insider.

I was originally open to 5 of the nine candidates (and am still open to 4). I just see Newt has the momentum BECAUSE after all 9 have been vetted he ends up as the strongest).

I would be a “Newter” only if I had eliminated all other candidates except Newt in the beginning and then supported him no matter what.

Contrast Perrywinkles chose Senor Perry long ago and won’t accept that he has been vetted and rejected.

Same with Paulbots.

Same with Mittbots.

I have not been here for months trying to prop up a candidate I like by tearing other candidates down. I have posted against Romney and Paul and Huntsman, but not in favor of any one candidate (Johnson does not really count), but rather in favor of the 5 candiates who I thought might be good.

Now that Newt is doing the best of all 9 I am doing all I can to stifle and defeat the pathetic bots (Mittbots, Perrybots and Paulbots). We only have a few weeks left and the bots must be destroyed.

If you want to make a fair criticism of Newt, go for it. But when you do so be prepared to hear about the weaknesses of your chosen candidate.

All 3 of them said good things about Gingrich.

All 3 criticized Perry, Paul and Romney.

Just adding the bits you left out.

"I have not been here for months trying to prop up a candidate I like by tearing other candidates down."

No, you are even more insidious than that, using juvenile descriptions of supporters of the candidates you don't agree with.

...the bots must be destroyed.
See what I mean. Sounds like Olberman/Matthews/Maddow etc etc. Or a kid in a basement who cuts himself.

Nothing wrong with fair criticizm of any candidate, but slamming supporters is just plain whack and destroys any credibility of those that do so.

It is an absolute lie that any law, real or proposed, allows a vaccination of any child in Texas without parental consent or notice.

The Legislature passed the requirement for parents to opt out of vaccinations for their children. They then passed a specific law against the mandating of a vaccine against Human Papilloma Viruses. Gardasil was never mandated in the State of Texas.

No child received a Gardasil vaccination due to the Executive Order, but many parents learned about the opt out procedure and were able to more easily access the forms than before.

Viruses don’t care what you do. Vaccinations to prevent viral disease are not “sex disease vaccines.”

Nevertheless, the vaccine is one of the most requested and provided vaccinations in the US. For all children, boys and girls under the age of 19 who qualify for the Vaccines for Children, it’s free of charge.

The Vaccines for Children provides free vaccinations on the “approved” list if the child is on Medicaid, CHIPs, Indian Health Service, or is uninsured or has insurance that will not pay for vaccines.

Talk to the Democrats for Life. http://www.democratsforlife.org/

or the Texas Democrats for Life http://texas.democratsforlife.org/

They ARE not a conservative bunch, even though they are against abortion and mandated contraception. But the Democratic party WAS conservative in Texaa at one time.

A child gets the sex disease vaccine unless his parents take special action to avoid it.

In other words, it is a mandatory vaccine for all kiddies unless the parents are aware that they have to complete special paperwork and then actually properly fill out and send in the special paperwork.

In other words most kids get the sex vaccine and their parents have no clue.

That’s Senor Perry’s law in Texas

As I recall, they all hedged on some of the questions, especially if they maybe thought they were trick questions.

I really don’t trust Newt either. He has changed his story many times. He’s very intelligent,, but seems to want to say what WE want to hear. Just my observation, though.

You are terribly misinformed.

I’m sure you have some sort of documentation that would let us know in which universe a Texas child could get a vaccine without his parent actually and purposefully taking him to the doctor or county clinic to get it - much less to get the vaccine without parental notice or consent.

Hmmmmmm....I wonder, in fact, if there is ANY state that gives any kind of vaccine to a child without a parent’s consent? A state where a child is whisked away, strapped to a bed, and forcibly injected.

Uh, no.

You're posting an article with inaccurate info. He was never the chairman of Al Gore's Texas Campaign. Tom Jurkovich was the head of Texans for Al Gore.

"we may have named (Perry) to a ‘steering committee’ or as one of several campaign ‘co-chairs,’ typically honorific titles with no real role ... (Perry) wasn't highly involved in the campaign, however, and had zero operational responsibility."

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2011/sep/07/legend-al-gore-and-rick-perry/

Perry was a young Democrat at the time and he endorsed Gore over Michael Dukakis, Gephardt and Jesse Jackson seeing Gore as the more Conservative of those running. He has also stated the he personally voted for George HW Bush in that election.

Me too :)

My opinion:

1-Santorum

2-Newt, Michelle

The rest I don't care for.

I have always liked Newt! He has charisma.. he has "star quality" (you can not ignore him), he is smart and all the rest... but I have problems with his moral character. At the same time, I am willing to forgive him at some point... where is that point? I am not sure yet, but like everybody else, I am afraid of 4 more years of OHOMO, who might turn every organization into a queers parade... He is a sicko, so for that reason, I will consider Newt as president. but I would like to see more of Santorum and Michelle. I think we owe them a shot.

So they are classifying HPV shots the same as birth control related activity as opposed to disease prevention? That makes no sense, does it.

The State will save a lot of money in the long run.

However, it is all kinds of wrong for the State to intervene this way: To tell a teen that his parents don’t need to know, that the State and the teen knows better than the parent.

I am well Las Vegas Ron. Hope you are doing good too.

BTW, what’s your take on 3D television these days. It seems they are ramping it up rather than paring it down.

Not to be argumentative, it’s just that I often think of you when the subject of 3D TV comes up. I have been interested to see what the trend is as it relates to 3D.

Wow, some of those glasses are expensive.

The SCOTUS comments are the important ones. The others were too, but you know what I mean. Imagine if we got more Sotamayers (SP? Who cares... ;^) ) in there.

As for Newt, one day he disagrees with Agenda 21, and the next he’s waxing rhapsodic about our impact on global warming. He also talked about a fix that involved trade or business or some such. What the heck?

I just don’t trust the guy.

After hearing his immigration stance, he might just as well call it the Kinder Gentler Immigration policy. You know, no illegal left behind.

I might to listen to one of his Constitutional dissertations. It would be very hard for me to walk across the street to vote for him for President. I sure hope I’m not required to. Ug!

Are you sure you don't have me confused with Las Vegas Dave? He has the HD ping list.

Since you asked though, to me 3D is a fad, personally I prefer DVD on an up scaled player or Blue Ray....regular TV in 3d?, well maybe if FOX rehires Laurie Dhue! (Snicker, just kidding....kind of)

Seriously though, I do get a chance to attend the CES shows here, have for many years even before I moved here, and from what I have seen the quality of 3D is definitely improving every year, especially in the no glasses needed arena.

As for the market, from what I have observed it's not really appealing to the masses, Blue Ray and up scaling of DVD's kind of suffices for most, nice to have the choices to pick from no matter your preference...God Bless America!

Ron, Dave. Dave, Ron. I’m so confused... ;^)

It is interesting that your thoughts on 3D do sound a lot like the thoughts I had attributed to Dave, so this may not be the first time I’ve confused the names, just to damn the innocent. :-|

We’ve gone the DVD route rather than picking everything up on Blue-Ray. The upscaling seems to work quite good.

You mentioned that they are making some good strides in 3D. I agree. I may be wrong, but I think think 3D will be with us for a long time, and may become much more popular with better larger sets.

Thanks for the mention. Interesting report...

If people look around, there are some very nice 3D televisions out there at places like QVC and HSN. These also provide wireless internet services, and at times are available under payment plans, 3 to 6 payments over as many months.

I try to keep aware of what’s out there, because my wife and I will be replacing our 56” HDTV with a 3D model in the next 18 months or so, perhaps a lot less.

This will allow us to watch all our old content, plus pick up some 3D services one way or the other.

I’ve got a 3D video camera now that I’m dying to hook up to a 3D set. Can’t wait.

The 60 frame per second video is already unbelievable, and can only imagine what the 3D will be like.

LDV, thanks for the ping. The linked info seems to state that 3D may wane, but that more households will probably wind up with it. Is that your takeaway as well?
