I just had a semi-liberal friend call and talk to me about Gingrich tonight. I was shocked. She told me she would not vote Obama; because she felt he didn’t deserve a second term because he did not answer for all the mistakes he made in his first term, and that she was actually interested in the retinue of GOP candidates and wanted my honest opinions of each and every one. She even talked about joining the local Republican caucus to get a feel for things. I was stunned.
I am also stunned... My Dad, who has been a democrat FOREVER, will vote for anyone but Obama. He will vote for Newt if he wins the nomination... his words.
