Good question. I’m reading his bio on Wiki - not the best lace for facts but it is what it is;)
He has advocated policies and principles which conservatives can and do embrace - but he just goes to the dark side on International issues. The US does have foreign interests that must be protected....Paul doesn’t think it does.

It’s not a big leap for me to make, with no facts one way or the other, to think that someone like Soros could quietly fund a third-party candidate to ensure that the Conservative, Republican, and Independent vote always stays fractured, thereby ensuring a Democrat victory.

(If we let them run Cain out of town, they will do it to EVERY GOP candidate from now on.)

Over his career, Ron Paul has introduced numerous pieces of legislation designed to reduce the size of government and return it to within its Constitutional limits.
The fact that members of both parties have not supported his smaller-government initiatives is not a reflection on Paul's inadequacy, but rather an indictment on the vast majorities in both parties who have no interest in limited government.
I guess Ron Paul could "accomplish" a lot more if he capitulated to the majorities of both parties who seem to want ever-expanding government power and influence over every nuance of our lives.

Ron Paul has held elective office for 35 years. What exactly has he accomplished during those years?
Any persuasive/powerful alliances within congress?
Which bills has he introduced or improved or stopped?
Has he influenced any movement beyond his fanatic poll spammers?
For 30 years Ron Paul has been trying to get the US out of the UN or to at least cut back on US funding of the UN, and that's not exactly worked out for him.
