Election 2012: Generic Republican 49%, Obama 41%

A generic Republican candidate now holds an eight-point advantage over President Obama in a hypothetical Election 2012 matchup for the week ending Sunday, December 4. This is the largest gap measured between the two since early September.

Last poll on NOOT had him winning 45% to Obama’s 43%.

Looks like NOOT is worse than Gen-Eric by six points off the spread.

Remember the election is next year and Obama has unlimited funds to spend. As I look at the 2012 election, Obama is going to be re-elected unless a real Republican steps up and get the nomination. It doing to be a repeat of the 2008 election.
