That is part Shiba (A)Inu.
My uncle (who worked in the Richmond, CA Shipyard during WWII)brought home a tiny Shiba puppy in his coat pocket to his daughters one night after work. The pup was part of a litter that had been taken off of a captured Japanese ship when the ship and its POWs had been towed to shore.
The family named the dog Judy and she was loved and lived many years through many adventures. I know she was over 20 when she died. She was a great dog, and every time a person of Japanese descent saw her, they made a big fuss over her.
