President Obama is not vacationing in Hawaii with his wife and children while the extension of the payroll tax holiday remains in limbo, and has warned GOP congressional leaders to stay in town as well.
Obama had planned to fly to Hawaii with his family on Dec. 17 and stay there through New Year’s.
After getting ripped by GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney over his vacation plans, Obama told Senate Democratic leaders Wednesday that he will stay in town until Congress finishes work on the payroll tax holiday, unemployment benefits and other issues.
Obama told Democratic leaders: “Michelle and the girls are going to have a great time in Hawaii, they don’t need me there,” according to Senate Majority Leader Reid (D-Nev.).

Once again Shelly is traveling separate, because she can. Or is it some muslim thing that they can’t travel together.
I would be willing to lose money just to get Otraitor out of the Continental US.
Maybe if Barry would read the Constitution he'd discover he is not King and the Congress is a co-equal branch of government.
The real reason is Michelle can’t stand to be in an enclosed space with Barry for that long. Every time they take a vacation, she flies on her own plane with the kids and Barry catches up with them later.
Her only real association with Obozo is a turkey baster.

Let’s do a double on this one....make it twice the cut and he can fly away twice the miles...should put him just above the Marianus Trench when he runs out of miles.
He has done this stunt every year since he has been President.
The official noted that Obama had already threatened to spend Christmas with Republicans in Washington if Congress failed to take action on payroll taxes.
“We’re going to keep pushing Congress to make this happen," Obama said Friday. "Now is not the time to slam the brakes on the recovery. Right now, it’s time to step on the gas. We need to get this done. And I expect that it’s going to get done before Congress leaves. Otherwise, Congress may not be leaving, and we can all spend Christmas here together.”
I just wouldn’t be a vacation for the first freeloaders if they all grifted along on the same plane.

LOL...exactly what I was thinking..
I think he left on time for last years Christmas vacay in Hawaii but he did controversial holiday recess appointments that stopped the NBP’s investigation and appointed some more progressive loons.
I will go on record betting he pardons Blago and Rezco right before he leaves office/is impeached. And the MSM will barely report it and say it is great.
