It is clear what I am saying so quit putting words in my keyboard. I don’t care much for the progressive tax either because if 10% is enough for God, it should be enough for the gov but progressive is what we have. How it worked for 100 years before the income tax was tariffs, and we know how folks around here hate that. The fact of the matter is, we have a bloated gov involved in everything from social engineering to worthless wars and it has to be funded somehow or cut. The problem is folks want more than they are willing to pay for, on both sides of the isle.

Pickens threw the number out there and did not provide enough information to show how he is or is not being screwed. I don’t care if he is 100, if he is raking in billions, then yes, in the current system he is paying millions.

If I were T. Boone I would have answered I paid more % in taxes than your employer did last year. Mika what should GE/MSNBC pay in taxes in profits over 5 Billion did you employer paid its fair share?

Why don't you rail about GE, Mika?

the RATS are tricky...they get us to join into a discussion that really shouldn't be happening.

We join in, it gives the subject credence. don't buy into the fair share crap.

He didn't need to provide more info. did he pay what he was suppose to pay under the current law ? be it 5 bucks or 5 billion ? ..If so, end of discussion.
