The powerful International Longshore and Warehouse Union, which represents most of the port workers whom protesters say they are supporting, has publicly rejected the blockade effort.

I'd pay real money to see some of our Seattle longshoremen take a few of these hippies out.

The longshoremen aren’t going to block the gravy flow.

Suddenly unions are our friends.

Sandy, the Longshoremen are a part of this, and dance to the tune of national labor leaders.

I do suspect, though, there are many ILWU members who privately are very reluctant to be a part of this. They know that support from locals, whose businesses and/or jobs will be impacted, would diminish. The local ILWU members in Seattle-Tacoma and other NW ports do not want to implement Obama’s plans for screwing everyone via Cloward-Piven methods to “collapse the system”.

They will box them up and put them on a slow boat to China.

Maybe someone should give the occupy types a copy of
“On the Waterfront” so they can have an inkling of the “Johnny Friendly” (Lee J. Cobb) types of union bosses they would claim to represent, you know for “da people”. Right, uh huh. Try that on the docks, idiots.
