Putting the brakes on Obama should be first and foremost priorty.

Can you imagine an Obama who doesn’t need to ‘moderate’ himself to be re-elected again? No more campaigns to run?

Can you imagine an Obama who feels the American public gave him a mandate and a blank check to go full speed with his dreams?

Can you imagine an Obama who knows he has just four more years to fundamentally change the world?

Can you imagine more czars and more executive orders?

Can you imagine Obama having four years of appointing lifetime positions of federal judges all over the country?

Can you imagine an election where the Democrats turn out more voters, thus possibly giving them back all three branches of government?

We have to hit the breaks. Even if all we are doing is putting a temporary rock under the tire to slow us down as we approach the cliff, it is better than pushing the accelerator down.

Even a hold your nose candidate like Newt will want to be re-elected so his first four years, he will pander to those who elected him.

Yep! IAC, if the "rock" doesn't get used, obamao is assured of not just a 2nd term. A 3rd and 4th will be easily within reach by the time his 2nd term has run its course.

However, IMHO, it IS over-the-cliff the Nation going to go, eventually. Even if (and that is a big "if") we get the rock under the wheel, the need to prepare for the chaos ahead continues unabated.
