No one could have known that when a Tunisian fruit vendor set himself on fire in a public square, it would incite protests that would topple dictators and start a global wave of dissent. In 2011, protesters didn’t just voice their complaints; they changed the world.

Which protestor was that? The ones that sexually assaulted a 60 Minutes reporter in Cairo and brutally beat her or maybe the ones that trashed the Israeli embassy there in violation of all international laws? Or do they mean to honor the OWS protesters who sexually assaulted a 14 year old in Dallas, or perhaps the one that exposed himself to a min...or here in L.A. and committed lude acts in front of that same child? Maybe the ones who robbed from local businesses and commited mass acts of vandalism? Or maybe Time has the warm fuzzies for the mobs that terrorized Manhattan school children merely trying to make their way to school and even following them up the street as their parents walked them to school. Or could it be the creeps trying to shut down ports on the West Coast potentially harming all of us, but esp. dock workers and truckers? Or the ones who did $500,000 in damage to an L.A. park perhaps? Please folks, if you’re still subscribing to this insufferable rag, cancel it now. I’ll send you my old newspapers so you can still keep up on the week old news.

I keep forgetting TIME is still published until something like this comes out.
Good grief. All they’ve done is poop on cop cars and the streets. The taxpayers have had to clean up after them and city services have had their vacations denied to be on extra shifts. Disgusting of Time but then again their pick is usually disgusting.
Reinforces why I haven’t read TIME in a loooong time.
A couple years ago, someone, we never found out whom, sent us a subscription of Time. No matter what we did to cancel it, it kept coming and of course no refund. It went straight from the mailbox to the garbage can.

notice how last weeks time cover had starlette angelena jolie’s face and then in the corner a headline that said “the vanity of the GOP”?

This is just a guess - but I’ll bet Time wanted to have OWS as their “person of the year”, but were concerned about the obvious bias that would be showing. So - expand to “the protestors” to obfuscate the real agenda.
Reports from local cops say the crowd smelled of....soap, and deodorant.
