“Person of the Year” is not an honor, nor is it meant to be.
It is, rather, just a statement of fact.
Protestors, of many stripes, were the newsmakers of the year.
That’s why bad guys sometimes get named “Person of the Year.” There is a difference between a designation and an “honor.”
