No, the modern nation of Israel was founded by men, looking to redraw the map of the middle east. God has His hands in everything that happens between nations, but the United Nations is behind the formation of the modern nation. When YHVH brings the NATIONS back to his promised land, as promised, it will be by a mighty hand, not some tin pot dictator majority vote. That is neither here nor there. Israel is our friend, perhaps our only friend in this region. We owe them thanks, we owe them help, but we do not owe them the lives or the hard earned dollars of our people. If they are attacked, we should back them in any way shape or form they need. Until then, we need to let them fly or fall on their own.
