To your wishlist, I actually do like Perry, but there is this “feeling” that I get that I am not sure how to comprehend. Not sure if it is the “Fred Thompson” feeling of being shoved in to the race without actually wanting to be in the race or if it is his laissez-faire style of governing Texas that may not translate well to the office of POTUS. Perhaps he would do well with a VP such as Bachmann.
So, in answering my own question, my vote would go TODAY to Bachmann.
My presidential selection list currently looks like this:
Bachmann
Perry - Gingrich tied
Santorum
Romney and Paul are out.
My friend you aren’t watching Perry too close then. Once, he came into the race, it has been all out to win. Fred Thompson never raised 17.1 million in 40 days. Fred Thompson never took a bus tour throughout Iowa. There is no comparison between Perry and Thompson. Besides, Thompson got in to help McRino win the nomination. Perry got in to save America and he will do just that.
It will be interesting to see how Rick Perry does tonight in the debate and also in the Iowa caucus.
I certainly agree with you on Paul and Romney being out. I am sorry to say I do not trust Newt as far as I could throw him. He sounds so very good, but when one goes back to things he has done and said, it amounts to many, many flip flops. I just don’t trust him.
Actually Rush stated it very well. The only real Conservatives in the race are Santorum, Bachmann and Perry.
I like all three, but think Perry would be a great President.
