Barbara Walters is telling it like it is when it comes to Kim Kardashian and the rest of her family.

"You don't really act; you don't sing; you don't dance," Walters bluntly told the reality star during an interview taped for “Barbara Walters’ 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011,” as reported by RadarOnline.com. "You don't have any -- forgive me -- any talent!"

Kim, flanked by mom Kris and sisters Khloe and Kourtney, defended her peculiar sort of fame, “I think it’s more of a challenge to go on a reality show and get people to fall in love with you for being you. So, there’s definitely a lot more pressure, I think, to be famous for being ourselves.”

Never understood this whole celebrity pop culture thing. Celeb sites, Entertainment Weekly, US, etc. Life vacant so living through others? Maybe just part of the whole media numbing-brainwashing thing to keep people useful idiots. . and throw spin in besides. .

The three times I've watched more than two minutes of it have been the car wreck effect of seeing Bruce Jenner emasculated and humiliated.

The most memorable was when he was picking out fake testicle implants (nuetricles) for his dog. His actions and attitude made him seem jealous and wishful that he could get his own back.

I've heard her name often, but never really followed her. Wikipedia lists one of her career is a model, including for Playboy in 2007. Since then, she also had been model for Carl Jr. and other companies. She also has been in some reality show.

There are zillions men and women have similar backgrounds, yet they're not famous. If she's famous, then she must have some talents that people like. Barb couldn't simply declare 'you don't have talent' just because she doesn't act, or sing.

There is some talent in the family. Kim’s brother Rob came in second on Dancing with the Stars. I got a chuckle when one of the judges told him he demonstrated that he’s a better dancer than his sister.

Ha! They pay for the world's best PR agents. That's why they are famous. Kim is not attractive in real life.
