Vladimir Putin suffered an embarrassing reminder that many ordinary Russians believe he has had cosmetic surgery to look younger on Thursday when the Russian word for 'Botox' became one of the most popular words used on Twitter. Eagle-eyed observers have suggested that the 59-year-olds face has become suspiciously smooth and that the skin around his eyes is almost totally clear of bags and wrinkles.
He is pictured above in June 2000 (left); and December 2011 (right).

Western vanity for male celebrities may not work in Russia. Putin may have to get rough to stay in power.

Looks like face foundation to prep for TV vs no prep.

I think it’s laser resurfacing. I don’t think Botox could do all that’s been described.

Most of this is crap lighting in the left picture and great lighting in the right picture. With Kino Flo Diva Light...anything is possible! Take a look at Barbara Walters lighting in an interview...even with all her surgeries....you can always tell her lighting from the person that is being interviewed....LOL! ;)
It also looks like Putie is wearing a Korean 'BB Cream' in the right picture...which is essentially skin care with color to it...women and men in Asian and European countries are all wearing this now instead of pancake makeup on camera. Its good stuff if you are in the market because its all in one moisture skincare, primer and has a tint ;)

I don't think that it is Botox. He probably achieved his new look by eating right, killing more Dissidents and daily workouts.

I have been thinking that Putin looks part Asian of late. It is the shape of his eyes which changed.

People Vlad the Irradiator considers enemies are not so lucky, like pro-Western Ukrainian politician Viktor Yushchenko, disfigured after being poisoned with dioxin by a pro-Russian intelligence official:

Definitely looks like he’s had his nose done but I wonder if the rest is that he’s gained 20 lbs or so? I’ve seen heavy friends lose weight and facially look older due to the loose skin sagging more without the fat to plump it out. Hard to tell.

WTF? I'm surprised, but I'm sorry...Putin looks like he has a *Members Only* jacket on. Heh. The testosterone in that image just rocked me off my chair!
