GE was one of the big “pushers” of the Curly Fry Lightbulbs because they stood to make a lot of money on their sale.
Everyone should know that that $2 CFL that you buy is subsidized by another $25 of your own tax money.
When I stocked up, I made sure I avoided GE bulbs. They burn out after 2 months on my patio anyway. I went with Philips or the Target brand. I'd rather buy from China or Amsterdam before GE.
