Until we get a candidate who is believable, consrvative and likeable, the country will remain divided and volnerable. Herman Cain was that man, and they knew it, so they shot him down with viscious lies and death threats. Obama won re-election on December 3!

Ask the conservatives in Arizona how that worked out for them w/ McCain.

Excellent reply to FReeper waynelusvardi!

Romney is a slimy, worm-infested traitor to social conservatism, just like McCain.

They're insidious leopards who pretend to change their spots -- but they can't!!

Newt or Romney even Ron Paul—who sleeps in the White House isn’t as important as taking the House and Senate—It needs to be a tea party Congress! First Congress, then the state houses! and the Media—then the White House—and then THE WORLD! Today the pits, tomorrow the wrinkles—Sunsweet marches on!

> What the Tea Party needs is to pack the Congress with like minded conservatives.

Excellent point and one that bears repeating.

I’m not spending anything on the Presidential race. The field ranges from iffy to horrible. I’m saving my bucks to spend on Congressional races where we have a chance to turn the tide.

I suggest we all do the same. Congress is where we can override Zer0 or a capitulating RINO.

I remember a time not too long ago when Ann Coulter was welcomed at FR; there are still pictures of her with FR members somewhere back in the archives. But here she is, solidly in bed with Romney and the other northeastern RINO’s/liberals.

Whether its her love of Chris Cristie (She likes an obese person? Add their two weights together and divide by two and you have that of a normal person) or what, I don’t know. But she has abandoned conservative principles and now joins those who shun Newt and other Tea Party conservatives. Besides the above linked article, she appeared on O’Reilly’s show last night to hammer home her conversion. Even Rudy (whose fate on here we know) has defended Newt which shows how far out in the Boston tide flats Romney has walked.

There is something weird about her IMO...before she did this. She doesn’t impress me.

And this just in via email:

If we all vote right in 2012, this is something we can all look forward to in 2013:

One sunny day in January, 2013, an old man approached the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue where he’d been sitting on a park bench.

He spoke to the U.S. Marine standing guard and said, “I would like to go in and meet with President Obama.”

The Marine looked at the man and said, “Sir, Mr. Obama is no longer President and no longer resides here.”

The old man said, “Okay,” and walked away. The following day the same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine, “I would like to go in and meet with President Obama.”

The Marine again told the man, “Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Obama is no longer President and no longer resides here.”

The man thanked him and again just walked away. The third day the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same U.S. Marine, saying,

“I would like to go in and meet with President Obama. “The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said,

“Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Obama. I’ve told you already that Mr. Obama is no longer the President and no longer resides here. Don ‘t you understand?”

The old man looked at the Marine and said, “Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it.”

The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, “See you tomorrow, Sir

I’ve yet to contribute to any candidate. Once we have an acceptable nominee, I expect that to change.

“He was a pagan ruler who became a Christian and made Christianity the official religion of the Eastern part of the Roman Empire when Christians became the largest religion.”

Great. I hope Romney does indeed become a Christian someday. I’ll consider him then, assuming it appears outwardly that he has had a true conversion.

Giving him authority, power, money and votes won’t convert him from the mormon cult. It will reinforce his attitude of superiority.

BTW, I can’t see any way Mitt is like Constantine except the early pagan part.

Romney owns nothing except the DNC. Obama will win that race.

“Advice: Vote for a Republican Senate and then vote for Romney.”

Your advise is worthless, but consistent with what Faux News, the republican establishment, the democrats and Obama would want the People to believe.

Voting for Romney will guarantee an Obama victory and the loss of our country.

GO NEWT GO........
