Words fail.
Tell it to an Orthodox crowd.
Every time there’s a thread like this, it must be stated that reform (and in most cases, conservative) judaism is nothing more than liberalism in the guise of some sort of Jewish religious thing. Their sermons are packed with liberal tropes, their views and voting always liberal, they are impervious to the actual welfare of Israel or Jewish causes, unless consistent with liberal policies and values. On every issue: welfare, illegal immigration, abortion, gay marriage, taxation, big government, environment, etc. they are consistently liberal.
So the bottom line is, when you see the apparent insanity of Jews supporting Obama and believing his bullsh!t, it’s because their actual religion is liberalism, not Judaism. Please, don’t blame our religion. Reform Jews have very little to do with it.
Not a Jew here, but it is definitely a conundrum! It has been my impression the Evangelical Christians as a group are Israel’s greatest ally.
