There has to be a middle ground. I cannot and will not believe the only option available is to drop nuclear weapons for any issue that comes up.
We can agree that we cannot go into every country and try to fix their problems.
But I can’t agree that we cannot go into ANY country to try to fix a problem, especially when it bears directly on us as both Afghanistan and Iraq did.
Did we (and are we) doing everything right in those places? Of course not. I disagree with and am appalled by many of the things I have seen and heard, particulary those that seem driven solely by politics and political correctness.
But I am not willing to see our country get into a “bomb them all to oblivion” as a standard course of action.
