Hamas has said in the past it would agree to a long-term truce with Israel, but remains sworn to its destruction.

Hamas and the PLO have publicly expressed differences on Israel's right to exist. It's doubtful Hamas has had an ephiphany.

Soooo, Abbas soon forgets this thisdebacle as hatred for Israel overwhelms the arab mind for any eaceful solution. I fear some of these folks are possessed by a demon of pure evil.
