Do you think the people in public housing pay property taxes ...and they contribute mightily to the public school population! There are exceptions to every rule...sigh...you are right. However; I run into people all the time who think they don't pay property taxes because they are 'renters'...

in our state - every pupil counted in the school’s population results in “x” amount of dollars in federal and state aid to that school.
