Still not sold on 3-D.
I haven’t seen anything that convinces me that it adds to the experience.

Obligatory reference to adding sound to movies, which ruined them. Damn talkies. ;)

As long as there is a screen, it ain’t 3D, it’s simulated 3D

can’t wait to try this out. I have not been a big fan of 3D because of the glasses. If they can simulate it without the glasses I am in - once the early adopters help bring the price down.

No, thanks, I’m waiting for 4D.

Oh boy, another whiz-bang gizmo we all just have to have.
I'll pass....Until they force me to buy it.

We have an LG 3d tv and it’s amazing when viewing 3d content. We were watching A Christmas Carol with our elderly mothers. My mom kept saying that the snow was falling right in her lap, lol. They use the passive 3d glasses just like at the theater and you’ll swear stuff is right out in the middle of the living room. Not so great when converting 2d to 3d, but we just love it. Not too much content available yet.

I think the problem with 3-D is that you need a larger-size screen for it to work properly. I'd recommend at minimum 55" (diagonal) display; I've seen the 70" (diagonal) Sharp LC-70LE735U and it does look great in 3-D.
