Sears used to have the best merchandise. It was the go-to store for appliances, televisions, lawn mowers and tools. Not anymore. My current refrigerator is from Sears, and it is a major disappointment. Even worse, Sears has also managed to drag down Lands End. The last sweater I bought from LE started to peel after two wearings. Land End clothes were once indestructible.

No business can stay afloat with shoddy merchandise. If Sears doesn't figure that out soon, it will go the way of the dinosaurs.

Quit buying all appliance items from Sears. Seems their main interest is selling extended warranty policies, and they completely lost sight of quality. I called for a service call on a microwave, and the Customer Service Rep. struggled to speak English. I had to listen to a sales pitch for extended warranty before they would take the service information. Bye Bye Sears!
