I thought I heard that the 7 principles of Kwanzaa are based on Marxism/socialism. So that right there, if true, makes one wonder if Karenga was trying to make a political statement when he invented his holiday.
The 7 principles are definately Marxist! Read the article & note the “collectivist economics”.
I’m pretty sure the majority of kwanza celebrants are white liberal elementary school teachers.
