U.S. prosecutors are preparing what would be the first criminal charges against BP PLC employees stemming from the 2010 Deepwater Horizon accident, which killed 11 workers and caused the worst offshore oil spill in U.S. history, said people familiar with the matter.
Prosecutors are focused on several Houston-based engineers and at least one of their supervisors at the British oil company, though the breadth of the investigation isn't known.

Little sympathy for BP.
The Gulf oil spill was only the last example of their “go cheap” business model.
I’m sure Holder and Obama appreciate your support in this matter.
Don’t believe this will go over in the gulf states who have praised BP’s subsequent clean-up/tourism efforts.
I’ll defer to your obvious vast knowledge of oil industry practices over the past 30 years.

The leftist moonbats are already applauding Holder and Obama this morning over this and insisting that to go after Halliburton too for good measure. It’s sad that Stalinist actions taken by Obama-Holder are cheered by so many.
I view this strictly as a diversion by this Administration and their AG.
