Rush saying that this is a pretty big win for conservatives and that the Obamaites are terrified of a conservative---any conservative.
Probably wishing for a better selection, as most have been doing for some time.
Agree. And the situation IS dire.
Steyn detests Gingrich... Did you hear him on Hewitt when Newt was at his peak?
Can you give us a link to the “horrible” one (I assume there is more than one)?
Disappointed with Steyn. He’s in the tank for Romney.
Sorry I can’t give you a link, I was listening to Rush and he was making no sense to me. Talking about big government, saying we like big government and then saying big government was bad. It sounded like Rush was saying big government is OK if it is GOP government but bad if it was Rat government. While GOP big government may not be as bad as Rat big government that is no reason to support big (unconstitutional) government. I think Rush was just having a bad day.
Yes I did. There is some personal animus there. It is way past an objective political rejection.
“I can understand what is troubling Steyn. The only really strong, trustworthy, conservative candidate was Sarah Palin, and shes not running.”
Which means we do not get to fight with the Toledo sword. That is off the table. Gone. Bent pipes, broken sticks, and dirty bricks are what we have. Because we have to fight. There is no option. We have to fight and win with what we’ve got. We can win, even with a bent lead pipe.
I can understand what is troubling Steyn. The only really strong, trustworthy, conservative candidate was Sarah Palin, and shes not running....
My thoughts also.
I might sleep late Nov.6
Seems like Steyn is concerned that Santorum might be a “compassionate conservative”. He does seem a bit emotional when talking about illegal immigration, for instance, much like Newt. I believe it’s a concern, too. We will learn more about Santorum in the coming week(s).
Love that picture, thanks!
OK, Mom....
I didnt see that as racist either
“who appointed you the FR watchdog?”
Whoever added the “report abuse” feature.
Reminds me of the famous scene, immortalized in the last segment of the "Samauri Trilogy", where the legendary Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi (as played by the Toshiro Mifune) goes to battle with his rival at sunrise on a deserted island.
Musashi famously fought the match with a wooden sword, as a symbol of his supreme confidence and skill.
