My recently deceased (21/11/11) father got a KILLER set of hearing aids a year and a half ago for under $5K.
We’ve sent them to his mother, since hers are utter CRAP...

How? What Santorum stated is the absolute truth! One of the major “tenets” of the Obama Administration is “giving inordinately to Blacks.” With Obama’s election, Blacks “singled out” the rest of us. They’ve been inculcated with the notion that they are still “disadvantaged” and need, therefore, to have additional “care” from the rest of us. The real racists today are the blacks who see everything through the prism of skin color. I mean Obama is more white than black, but he looks black, and that’s all they need to vote for him. They are depending on him to share the fruits of others labor with them.
Santorum did NOT single out any particular group of people.
What he said:
"I don't want to make people's lives better by giving them somebody else's money; I want to give them the opportunity to go out and earn the money."
What CBS reported:
"I don't want to make black people's lives better by giving them somebody else's money; I want to give them the opportunity to go out and earn the money."
There is video that proves Santorum did not say "black people's lives". The racial component is a total fabrication by CBS.

So what if he did say “black people?” Does any rational person really believe that he doesn’t know how many white people are on welfare?
Sounds to me like just another example of white people getting the fuzzy end of the lollipop. He wants to help black people, but doesn’t say anything about wanting to help white people.
When is anyone going to do something to help whites climb out of poverty?
I was once told by a government functionary, “Once we get through hiring black women with Spanish surnames, we don’t even get around to white *women.* Forget it. You’re not getting a job here.”
