Thanks, I should have made the distinction, should have stated “fire” instead of “draw”. Obviously, weapons are drawn more often than fired. Still working on my morning coffee. My point, while perhaps not made clearly, was that the uniformed police officers who shot the kid should not be faulted for doing so as had it been a real hand gun they perhaps had only a second or two to get off the first shot(s). Anyway, glad that no one other than the dumb kid will killed or injured.
