I stole it from someone on Twitter and I have been sending it out everywhere.

I just posted it on my FB page and sent to my personal email list (about 200 folks.) Doing my part.

BTW: Gingrich spoke for me in this video. Especially when he said the single biggest boost to our economy will happen on election day, 2012 when Barack Hussein Obama is voted out.

I've been saying that for three years. :-)

Your standards aren't standards at all.

By your standards, Ronald Reagan would've never been elected, and Jimmy Carter would've been President for 8 years.

You have a nice day now.

Once a guy has established that you shouldn’t believe a word he says (like say breaking an oath to forsake all others) then I don’t believe a word he says.

So you wouldn't have voted for Reagan, correct?

Here is my take on things. I don't get a chance to freep as often as I would like.

Newt is an obvious winner for us. He's conservative has his share of problems-- going to the other side but on the whole we could live with him and know he will do what is right for the country.

Romney is a 50/50 conservative at best. He's untrustworthy,we could never count on him and he blows with the wind. Just a taller version of McCain.

Here is what is going on in the background as I see it. The left is going nuts trying to get Romney as our candidate.Once again they are trying to pick our candidate as they did with McCain. You gotta ask why.

Two big reasons stick out to me:

#1. Romney/Mittcare takes Obamacare off the table for the left. That's a huge win for them. Neutralize their nationalizing 1/6 of the economy and they are half way there.

#2.Romney's father was born in Mexico. Mitt is not a NBC IMHO.Takes another huge problem for ozero off the table.

Especially with Zero's eligibility being litigated Jan.26 in Georgia.

If the left is successful in picking our candidate once again and we get Romney as a candidate it's gonna be really tough for us to win,not a sure thing as the RNC thinks.

They weren't my standards but the hysteria of another poster. Backtrack the conversation.

You have a nice day too.

I’m not going. I’m not dividing or conquering either. I just don’t think people should be buying into the tales from a guy that has a long history of lying. Insincerity is constant in his history, even in his recent history (again I point to his enviro stance). Was he even sincere in his conversion? I don’t know, but given the long list of things he’s clearly been insincere on I have my doubts. Which is why I’m not voting for him. And if it turns out he is sincere, and God really digs him, then God will make sure he wins without my vote. And if Newt isn’t sincere then he should be on the enemy list too.

Gingrich spoke for me in this video.

That seems to be the reaction of most who have see the video, and for that reason, lots of people are "doing their part". It is flying on Twitter and on FB. Too bad the counter on the video views is stuck. Some on Twitter are pushing it hard on New Hampshire and South Carolina hash tags. This thing ain't over yet.

Here is an article that went with the video. Based on the date on the article, I don't know if it was written before or after the video was posted. I am NOT pimping for the site (THAT is a FR no-no), but I am sure the author and/or creator of the video would appreciate a few remarks. Bet that video was a lot of work to put together. Hope my link works.

Newt Gingrich helps Mitt Romney Understand Why He is Angry

I don’t actually believe Newt’s got any of that written. For one thing laws don’t get submitted by the president, they get submitted by congress, so he’ll need somebody to sign on, which means he could be championing them now. For another he has too long a history of lies.

Those laws would be great. But I don’t believe they’ll happen under Newt. Don’t even believe they’ll try.

Who else has this on his resume?

While Gingrich deserves credit for promoting the Contract with America, there were others who actually wrote the bills and got things done. Take welfare reform for example. Who actually wrote the Bill that was part of the Contract with America when he was in the House and then was instrumental in getting the bill passed in the Senate? Why it was none other than Rick Santorum. Amazing!

Not asking for perfect. Really I only have a handful of “no ways” for a candidate. No socialists, no anti-free speech, no philanders, no abject scumbags. That’s really it. Flaws I can handle, just not the big ones. Sadly the GOP just can’t seem to put forth many people lately that don’t violate my short list of “no way”.

I’m not praying against Newt, I’m not a praying kind of guy.

Right now I’ve settled on Santorum. Can’t really say I like him, but he doesn’t violate my non-negotiables. It’s really a terrible field of candidates we’ve assembled. Might actually be worse than 08. I’m really starting to think the GOP is throwing this one... might even be hoping they are because if this is the best they can muster we’re hosed.

I have more trouble believing Trump than Newt. Too much of a celebrity, too much talking without ever actually putting anything real on paper. Too many times he’s started talking politics right before a season of his show started. Which is why I doubt he’ll ever run, running would distract from how he makes money.

Newts says a lot of interesting and smart stuff. I’m just not convinced he believes a word he says. If I had any confidence that he actually believed more than half of what he says I’d vote for him in a cold second. But his history is one of his actions being at odds with his words.

presently no screen name: "I don't trust anyone's opinion that can't smile."

That's a pretty good rule of thumb....follow it myself, by the way. bttt

Happiness Is a Moral Obligation.

"..When we think of character traits we rightly think of honesty, integrity, moral courage, and acts of altruism. Few people include happiness in any list of character traits or moral achievements. Happiness or at least acting happy, or at the very least not inflicting one’s unhappiness on others is no less important in making the world better than any other human trait......."

Should have hit the view replies. I smile plenty, it’s a favorite song, that fits well in bad times, like a crumby election with lots of really bad candidates. But that happiness as a moral obligation is weird. If you ain’t happy you ain’t happy. Life throws us all some ugliness periodically, nobody gets to be happy all the time, nothing immoral about it.
