Pelosi: Obamacare repeal would 'destroy' 300k jobs byJoel Gehrke Commentary Staff Writer
House Minority Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., today attacked House Republicans for passing legislation that would allegedly "destroy 2 million jobs," as her office claimed that the Obamacare repeal bill alone would "destroy more than 300,000 jobs," according to her office.
"One year ago the Republican majority was sworn into office," Pelosi said during a press briefing today in which she called for House Republicans to abbreviate their adjournment and return to Congress. "Since that time we have seen no major job agenda put forward. We have seen a budget that would break the Medicare guarantee. This is just in opposition to everything this country needs." She added that House Republicans should be "right here in this Capitol" working on legislation such as the payroll tax cut extension.
An issues statement from Pelosi's leadership office faulted Republicans for "pass[ing] legislation that would destroy nearly two million jobs." House Republicans passed, for instance, a repeal of Obamacare, "thereby destroying 300,000 jobs," in Pelosi's opinion.

I want to see her numbers where it would supposedly do this in the PRIVATE sector. If its a government job that get lost that doesn’t count. That merely increases our debt.

In fact, the exact opposite of your assertion is true. Obamacare is reducing jobs tremendously as companies cannot hire due to the costs incurred by this overburdensome, intrusive, costly, monstrocity legislation. Getting rid of Obamacare will immediately create hundreds of thosuands of jobs.

But in truth, how many will save ... 2+ million? giving a net affect of jobs saved at 1.7 million ... I say repeal!
What SHE misses is that for every one of those eliminated, the economic recovery that would result will create multiple times those eliminated, probably with a huge net gain in jobs.
