NAACP Blasts Santorum After He Denies 'Black People' Remark
The Root ^ | 01/05/2012 | Claudio E. Cabrera

Republican presidential contender Rick Santorum is now denying ever making remarks about "black people's lives" after receiving criticism for the comments.

The former Pennsylvania senator, who finished just eight votes short of an Iowa caucus victory, took heat this past Monday after saying, "I don't want to make black people's lives better by giving them somebody else's money."

The remarks brought criticism from NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Todd Jealous, who called them "outrageous."

"He conflates welfare recipients with African Americans, though federal benefits are in fact determined by income level," Jealous told CNN.

Santorum appeared on The O'Reilly Factor last night and said the remarks were the result of "a little bit of a blurred word."

"I looked at that, and I didn't say that," Santorum told O'Reilly. "If you look at it, what I started to say is a word and then sort of changed and it sort of -- blah -- came out. And people said I said 'black.' I didn't."

Maybe the NAALCP needs to look at the type of people who would make these:

“That’s Just How White Folks Will Do You.”

“Typical white person”

“I ceased to advertise my mother’s race at the age of twelve or thirteen, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.”

“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,...I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

Although it sorta sounds like black or bligh (which sounds like a combo of black and white) it doesn’t fit with what he’s saying, he had no reason to insert that word it appears to be a verbal glitch, however his remarks would apply to black or white people.

The NAACP is irrelevant. There are no more “colored people”.

Wait. I see the problem. Santorum should have said...

"I don't want to make COLORED people's lives better by giving them somebody else's money."

Now. Could the NAACP have a problem with that? hmmmm?

It's pretty obvious he was was between words, combined "lives" with "better" and said something like "bligh."

The same people who swear Santorum said "black" will deny Obama said billionaires should not "pay the same tax as a Jew."

Even if he said it...He would be right. I bet that Even Cain would agree with that statement.

As I said in another post, it would seem as though he combined "better" and "lives" to form "bligh."

As he's addressing the crowd, he says the government wants to make "all of you" more dependent. There's only one black person in the room I could see. He was behind Santorum. He never flinched at the supposedly "racist" remark.

The problem with Rick and all the other republicans, except for Sarah Palin, is that they will apologize and backtrack for speaking the truth. He needs to stand by what he said and explain it more fully to the idiots who don’t understand.

The racial bonfires are being built all across the country. Obammy and Holder are going after voter ID laws in the south. They’re stirring up hispanics over our “racist” immigration policies.

Just the other day John Conyers threatened to call his “personal friends” Obama and Holder to stop Michigan’s emergency financial manager law from taking effect in Detroit. (he says it targets minority dominated cities) Jesse Jackson said “This ain’t Alabama” and I wanted to ask him what the hell kind of racist statement that was.

At this point, any negative publicity, even just a little, for any Republican president is legit grounds to be worried.

I think it is time to clamour for our next President to abolish the NAACP the first day of office.

Black people blast White man for saying Black people?

Are they perpetually angry for not being white? This is just the beginning
and I would like to suggest to all honkies to avoid wearing anything black
for fear of being labeled a racist thug.

We are also rapidly losing the DEAF vote. Whole lots of folks out there who are losing their hearing and pretending to hear so that NO ONE WILL KNOW.

You can do that for a while and then you wake up and find out you are deaf as a doorknob!

These DEAF people imagine they heard "black", and then take offense when the rest of us who can actually hear correctly tell them "black" isn't in there!~

Well take this DEAF people ~ black isn't in there ~ get your hearing tested ~ quit faking it. WE KNOW!!!!!

Look, Santorum answered it correctly on the BOR show. I watched it. I've played ALL the different videos numerous time. There's one by CBS out there that's been edited !!!! We've seen that too many times out of CBS to let them get away with it.

As the NAACP, Jesse jackson and some other African-American spokes-peeps are saying, "We Negroes are easily fooled by tricky white people" ~ leastwise that's the way I am forced to translate their message.
