Well, Santorum told Iowans back in ‘08 that there needs to be a mandate for American-produced autos to be flexfuel by 2010, and Romney has been ga-ga with Iowans supporting their ethanol subsidies since then too, Perry said he was uncomfortable with E85 subsidies this summer and

LOOK HOW THAT TURNED OUT!

Although ‘Liz’, who calls Perry ‘the human price tag’ can probably explain why Perry didn’t spread-’em for Iowa.

This is completely delusional. Maybe you’re a tea party member out of some leftwing state, perhaps you’re even a Ron Paulista, but down here in Texas Perry has always been well respected. If not for the Cain surge and Perry’s missteps (I was an early Cain supporter; many freepers turned their backs on him in favor of candidates who are now, presently, imploding anyway), Perry would be on the top of our list. To claim that Perry’s record and statements are “anti-Tea Party” is completely deceptive or ignorant. An actual analysis of Perry’s record and statement refutes the vast majority of disinformation that has gone out. I think a lot of it came from the Bachmann camp, as it seems they were willing to spread any fallacious rumor about any candidate that stood in her way. That’s why she imploded.

I believe the govt had NO right to force any child to take ANY vaccine...

Ok. Well, the state didn't force any child to take any vaccine. Since there was always an opt-out for the Gardasil as well as for the measles, then only those who opted-out would've been at risk.

So you've answered my question.

It had nothing to do with "strong arming" tactics of the government, and it has nothing to do with the Obamacare mandate(because there are no opt-out exceptions there.)

You have constructed a simple, comfortable mental satisfaction and anyone who challenges it just makes you hit the caps-lock. Got it.

>>Where was the mosque built and in what year?<<

Plano, Tx June 14, 2005 Gov. Rick Perry flew in to lay the first ceremonial brick for the center's foundation. It was a symbolic gesture since the site for the new center will be a few miles northeast of the Gleneagles Country Club in Plano, where the foundation ceremony was held. Friday April 11, 2008 Texas Gov. Rick Perry plans to host a private dinner followed by fireworks near Austin on Saturday to honor the Aga Khan, a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad celebrating his 50th year as the spiritual leader of a Muslim sect. Denying what Perry has done and said won’t make it go away. His pandering to Muslims is no secret to anyone who wants to know.

How many kids couldn't walk straight or without crutches in your kindergarten class?

How many died from tuberculosis?

How many of your childhood friends didn't make it High School because of pertussis?

How many of your girl-hood friends lost a goot after stepping on a rusty nail?

What does this have to do with my assessment of why Santorum had a late spurt in Iowa?

Neither Perry’s nor Santorum’s position on FlexFuel had anything to do with what I posted, it was merely an observation. Personally I thought the whole E85 initiative was a complete joke, and regardless of Perry’s stance on the matter he only garnered a 5th place showing.

That’s reality no matter how its spun.

I’d be interested in hearing you square your analysis re ‘We should go BACK into Iraq’ and ‘pandering to Muslims’.

Wrong. Iowa freepers reported local union guys handing out pamphlets at caucus sites reminding Iowans who supported E85 subsidies and who would take them away.

How was anyone being “forced” into the vaccine? There was an opt out.

Why would Iowans care about buying Perry? But Perry sure as heck had no problems trying to buy Iowans considering he burned through a lot of ad money just for 5th place and form the looks of it, SC will end up no better.

And that’s why you think Perry’s campaign tanked, because of some E85 pamphlets?

Wow.

‘We should go BACK into Iraq’ and ‘pandering to Muslims’

Are you saying that by Rick Perry positing going back to Iraq would be taking the fight back to them? Really?

Iowa was a freak show. Let’s see how Perry does in a real Red State. Certainly better than Romney.

That’s an easy one. He is trying to show all of us stupid uneducated people who think that all of Islam is a threat that only the “fanatical” ones are. It’s a tactic that Bush, Obama, and many others have attempted.

Are you thinking Perry will pick up some Muslim vote over the ‘back to Iraq’ statement? Bet you don’t. So is he pandering to Muslims or not?
