What a joke. Only non-members think the Tea Party likes him.

Rick Perry, has been the anti-Tea-Party candidate on Free Republic.

When Rick Perry first declared, his supporters came in large numbers to FR to bash Sarah Palin and the Tea Party. Like Perry himself, his supporters are imbeciles. They have done a great job of alienating FR members.

RICK PERRY IS A JOKE.

RICK PERRY IS NO FRIEND OF THE TEA PARTY.

RICK PERRY SHOULD NOT BE IN THE RACE — HE IS JUST SPLITTING THE ANTI-ROMNEY VOTE.

This is completely delusional. Maybe you’re a tea party member out of some leftwing state, perhaps you’re even a Ron Paulista, but down here in Texas Perry has always been well respected. If not for the Cain surge and Perry’s missteps (I was an early Cain supporter; many freepers turned their backs on him in favor of candidates who are now, presently, imploding anyway), Perry would be on the top of our list. To claim that Perry’s record and statements are “anti-Tea Party” is completely deceptive or ignorant. An actual analysis of Perry’s record and statement refutes the vast majority of disinformation that has gone out. I think a lot of it came from the Bachmann camp, as it seems they were willing to spread any fallacious rumor about any candidate that stood in her way. That’s why she imploded.
