Michelle Obama: No tension with husband's aides (People paint me as "some angry black woman")
CBS News ^ | January 12, 2012

(CBS News)

Michelle Obama said depictions of friction in a new book, "The Obamas," between her and former top aides to her husband, President Obama, aren't true.

In a wide-ranging interview with "CBS This Morning" co-host Gayle King, the first lady also said that some have tried to portray her as an "angry black woman" since Mr. Obama first announced he was seeking the presidency.

" ... I guess it's more interesting to imagine this conflicted situation here and a strong woman and-- you know? But that's been an image that people have tried to paint of me since the day Barack announced, that I'm some angry black woman."

"The Obamas," written by New York Times reporter Jodi Kantor, reports that there was tension with former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanual and with former presidential Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.

But Mrs. Obama told King that simply wasn't so.

"Rahm is -- and Amy, his wife, are some of our dearest friends," Mrs. Obama says. "Rahm and I have never had a cross word. He's a funny guy."

That’s right-—make sure you play the race card, you ugly, ignorant cow.

God bless our Moms.

Around the age of five I remember my Mom told me to wipe that scowl off my face or it would become permanent. Poor Michelle never got the message.

Moms are always right.

And people portray Tom Cruise as being as crazy as an outhouse rat. Go figure.

“For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country,” she told a Milwaukee crowd today...

Nothing angry there...

To be fair, I believe that if you are a black person in the US, our general culture forces you to be aware of your color, while a white person can live most of his life without thinking about it hardly at all.

The mere existence of things like BET, Negro College Fund, NAACP, Black Caucus, etc. tend to do that to you. They are all race centric.

If we had white equivalents, I think whites would, just as blacks do today, be more aware of their skin color, as opposed to just their species.

From Moochelle’s senior thesis at Princeton:

“My experiences at Princeton have made me far more aware of my ‘blackness’ than ever before,” the future Mrs. Obama wrote in her thesis introduction. “I have found that at Princeton, no matter how liberal and open-minded some of my white professors and classmates try to be toward me, I sometimes feel like a visitor on campus; as if I really don’t belong. Regardless of the circumstances underwhich I interact with whites at Princeton, it often seems as if, to them, I will always be black first and a student second.”

Black first, angry second, entitlement queen third, and American down somewhere around 8th or 9th.

I agree.

I teach boxing and used to do it and now my son fights.

We went to a black college last year and the racism towards us was sickening , even the guys from our gym whom were black were disgusted.

Black kids are taught from an early age off the left that they were used as slaves, they and their rights taken away etc etc.

After talking to a few of these black kids at the gym and after hearing what they are told then I too would be angry if I were black.

Was it not cloward and piven who wanted to keep blacks angry so they could use them in their protests?

When I hear the code words like diversity , comments like “there is not a lot of diversity here”

I say right away “why do you persist in colour, why do you have to notice colour, can you not just look at people as people?”

Or”I had not noticed I only look at people as people not by their colour”

“the shows are full of drama queens, girlie men and a few hours plugging the liberal agenda.”

Girlie men — you nailed it. The men adopt a chatty, feminine persona (e.g., Harry Smith, who I’m convinced is a woman), which goes hand-in-hand with ultra-liberal, or else they act like 6th grade pre-pubescent gossipy boys (Stephanopolos).

NPR follows suit, where only the women have low voices, or they have a snarky, self-superior tone (e.g., Scott Simon), or the sing-song tones of the idiotic liberal-activist “science” guy, Ira Flatow.

“Painting her as an angry black woman” is the equivalent of painting watermelons green or oranges orange.

Oh, I mentioned watermelons, I suppose “that’s racist”.

Truth. I call it “National Faggotry Radio”. I have to change to a sports station usually in a matter of milliseconds - drives me up a wall. How do they *all* manage to sound that way? Disgusting.

The ugliness of this harpy’s angry, bitter, race-baiting soul is simply mirrored by her vile, loathesome, Medusa-like visage. I don’t care how un-Christian this sounds, I mean it with all my heart. I wish all the pain, suffering and misery they have inflicted on the American people since Inauguration Day 2009 is visited tenfold upon her and her family. No catastrophe is too dreadful to befall them. May she soon pray the Earth to swallow her up and the mountains to fall upon her.

My MIL turned the today show on while she was here and they had a girlie guy telling women what is the best thing for women to wear on their waists, shoulders etc

The next clip was two men and a woman who were loving the fact the guys there were acting like women.

After the AD’s they had a segment which had another girlie guy on.

I told my MIL turn it over I can’;t watch this crap.

She put it on the good morning America and there too was girlie men but also some woman who tried hard to look like a guy.

How anyone can watch those shows is beyond me, it is not entertainment it is not news it is the lefts agenda.
If these people got out of the north east and out of their elitist circles and cocktail parties and got to other parts of the country they would be shocked to see how the majority of folks are.

I want to know who watches those shows and The View. If View wasn’t reported on news channels I would have never heard of it.

“diverse” is defined by the left as “fewer white people and less traditional American culture”.

Therefore, a room full of black or hispanic people is “more diverse” than a room with equal parts white, asian, hispanic, and black people.

Yea LOL the view is another.
What view 3 cackling women spouting left wing crap shouting out the republican and then having a liberal guest on there too.

It’;s all defined as entertainment but it is disguised as that so they can push their left wing agenda and get people used to seeing girlie men, fairy men , drama queens and even shows on HGTV<think it is. has shows where two of the same sex look for an house and the show tries to make them appear a normal couple.

It’s all to make the public get used to their agenda and I;ve still yet to meet anyone who can tell me why they watch all of that crap.
