Don't hold your breath. Stubborn pride to the point of deafness/blindess is Rush's Achilles Heel.
Ronald Reagan wouldn't have been thrilled with the messed up manner in which Gingrich tried to expose Romney's lack of business ethics, though we all need to remember how Reagan felt about Romney's father: he considered him a destructive moderate to be kept far away from the halls of power in the GOP.
But I think Reagan would have given Rush a good swift kick in the ass for the aid he gave Romney and the damage he did to Newt yesterday.
Newt blew it, but Rush blew it ten times worse.
And Rush will never, ever allow himself to perceive it. He's humble before God, and I admire him for that -- but after nearly 20 years of listening to and admiring Rush, it's nonetheless obvious that Rush is incapable of being rightly humbled before mere mortals.
I agreed with your today’s comments yesterday. Today I do not.....I listened to Tom Marr this mornin and then googled to secure facts about Bain......
Romney et al were no more corporate raiders than I’m an Asian Aviator.
What, in fact Bain did to Staples, Dominoes and the too long mentioned Newt assertion added 10’s of thousands of jobs.
In fact, Bain was a model of needed corporate capitalism
Rush can get a little .... I can’t say annoying because I think Rush is the best. I will say obsessive when he makes a point he likes.
He really riled me back in the Cain days for spending way too much air time defending Cain. I know he wasn’t defending Cain per se as much as he was defending conservatives against liberal attacks, particularly black conservatives.
He hasn’t mentioned Cain since except a little aside about him having gotten what he wanted, i.e. a job at Fox News and some publicity for his book.
He’s now gone full bore on this attack ‘from the left’ by Newt.
Don’t expect him to give it up.
