That is one of the reasons I cannot support Dr. Paul in the primary; his campaign has been hijacked by some fringe characters who do not line up with conservatism on some key issues. Dr. Paul himself probably votes in a way I agree with over 90% of the time but that does not mean he would be the most ideal candidate for President. Dr. Paul would have a real uphill battle getting elected and on the very outside chance he did win the election it is difficult to see see anything other than some sort of anarchy coming out of Washington. This is why I am supporting Mitt Romney; I think he will be able to accomplish getting America back on track, particularly if we hold the house and either increase our numbers in the Senate or win the Senate. Getting a Republican elected will not solve our problems. We need someone who can work with a conservative congress without blowing it the way GWB did when we owned both houses and the presidency.
