Oh, please, half the Evangelicals I know here in Florida are on their 3rd marriage or at least their 2nd. But that doesn’t invalidate the principle of one man and one woman.

Gingrich has already come out in support of the traditional defnition of marriage, and he has done so very well, not even getting derailed by the gays who show up.

But aside from that, unless you yourself are planning on marrying Gingrich one of these days, there’s a whole lot of other issues that you should consider, such as the candidate’s policies on big government, taxes, SOPA, healthcare, oil drilling, defense...Gingrich has good policies for all of these and he can defend them.

It is sort of like lying about sex, everybody does it. You are defending the indefensible. Newt is a womanizer and unfaithful to his wedding vows. Having him as the poster boy for the defense of the institution of marriage is ludicrous. Who is next? Larry King?

Gingrich has already come out in support of the traditional defnition of marriage, and he has done so very well, not even getting derailed by the gays who show up.

His position is no different than the others on this issue. So far, even Obama agrees with that definition.

Newt is the big government, inside the beltway guy who has fed at the public trough thru elective office and crony capitalism all his life. He is an influence peddler who is cashing in on his government contacts. Newt believes government has the solutions to all our problems.

Newt has supported the biggest expansion of the entitlement program since Medicare with his support of the prescription drug program (Medicare Part D) that represents an unfunded liability of $7.2 trillion. He supported the individual mandate. He was the "Green Conservative" who told Kerry that he believed in manmade global warming and that government should address it "urgently."

Newt supports amnesty and lies about it when confronted. His written position is far different from what he has been saying on the stump. Real conservatives support the Rule of Law and enforcing our existing laws. The don't reward lawbreakers with the object of their crime.

Newt has been on both sides of every major issue. He is a fraud and loose cannon. Now he is attacking Romney because he is a capitalist using the language of the Left. Newt supported Dede Scozzafava over a real conservative.

Newt has shown himself to be a disaster as a candidate. He has had a hard time raising money, failed to set up good grassroots organizations in the states failing to get on the ballot in VA and Missouri and almost missing out in Ohio. He finished 5th in NH. Being a good debater doesn't win elections, being organized and getting people to the polls does. He is also thin skinned and possesses a colossal ego. I don't he ever had an intention of really seeking the nomination, but rather, to use his candidacy to get into the spotlight, exhibit his outsized intelligence, and sell books. He is not in this for the long haul. He will drop out after FL.
